Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Words entered into a search feature may pass directly to the third-party provider that operates it. Do not enter birth dates, account numbers, payment-card details, or other sensitive information unless the provider’s own official form clearly requires it. The provider’s privacy terms govern that submission.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send a message, we may receive the name, email address, and text you supply. Use that channel only for questions about the private reference site. Do not send court filings, citation scans, sealed material, medical details, or personal identifiers. Official case questions belong with the Utah State Courts Clerk of Court or the court that holds the record.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like many websites, the hosting and analytics systems may record routine technical information. That can include an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, and the approximate time of a request. These logs support security, performance checks, and aggregated use analysis. They are not used to create a Uintah County court-record profile about a visitor.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They may help measure traffic, remember basic preferences, and show which pages function well. Analytics vendors may process that data in aggregate. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, though some site functions may then behave differently.
What We Do With This Data
Information may be used to operate and secure the site, respond to a message, diagnose errors, understand broad traffic patterns, and improve page clarity. It may also help detect abuse or enforce site terms. We do not use visitor data to decide whether someone qualifies for credit, a job, housing, insurance, or any other purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
No Court-Record Data on File
Uintah County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It publishes general directions to Utah Xchange, the court calendar, the clerk, and other official sources. It is not a consumer reporting agency and does not turn visitor information into reports about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Some pages contain search tools supplied by outside companies. A partner may receive a query and may apply its own cookies, account rules, fees, and privacy practices. We do not control its database or results. Review the provider’s policy before submitting information, and verify any case detail with the originating court or clerk.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Utah Courts, municipal offices, legal resources, or private services. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination controls its own collection and security practices. This policy does not govern another website.
Who Might See Your Data
Routine data may be processed by hosting, security, analytics, and search-service vendors that help operate the site. Information may also be disclosed when law requires it, to protect rights or system security, or during a business transfer. Personal information is not sold as a court-record product. Service providers receive only the access needed for their role, subject to their own agreements and legal duties.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to reduce unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No internet transmission or storage method is fully secure, so absolute protection cannot be promised. Visitors can reduce risk by withholding sensitive case material and using official court systems for records, payments, and filings.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults seeking general public-record information. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may use the contact route to request review.
Your Data Rights
Applicable privacy and consumer-protection law may provide rights to ask what personal data is held, request correction or deletion, or object to some processing. Utah court records are governed separately. Public access and restrictions for those records are set by UCJA Rule 4-202.02, Rule 4-202.03, and Rule 4-202.04, with the Utah Government Records Access and Management Act providing broader state-record context.
- Ask whether personal information was received directly from you
- Request correction of information you supplied
- Ask for deletion when retention is not legally required
- Adjust cookie choices through browser controls
- Contact the official court, not this site, about a court record
